Kids Station Toys, in cooperation with CPSC, is recalling one million Little Tikes “Chit ‘N Chat” Toy Cell Phones because the hinge cover can detach, posing a choking hazard to small children.

The CPSC has received three reports of the toys breaking. One report included a small child beginning to choke on the small part after it detached from the toy phone.

Consumers are advised to take the toy phones away from small children immediately and to contact the company for instructions on how to obtain a free replacement toy.

The toy phones resemble flip-phone style cell phones. They are multi-colored and have a sticker on the back with one of the following model numbers: KSL4010, KSL8032, KSL8033 or KSL8051. ‘Designed and Licensed by Kids Station Toys International Ltd.’ Is printed on the back of the phone.

For additional information, contact Kids Station toll-free at (888) 620-0930 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's Web site at www.kidsstationtoys.com.
