Two men working at the Aloe Industrial Park in Victoria suffered burn injuries when the railcar they were working in caught fire. The men were rescued from the fire by coworkers. A maritime accident in the Gulf of Mexico killed a fisherman at the end of August. The fishing boat was about 12 miles south of South Padre Island, Texas when the accident occurred.
